Something with the fit of this shoe is off, at least for me. I am 5'10", and I used to wear a size 10 in virtually every brand. Fast forward to two babies later, and my feet are a full size bigger. I consistently wear a 42 in Danskos. I have at least six pairs of this size in my current wardrobe that all fit fine, plus others I've worn in the past and no longer own. I tried these in a 42, but they were too long. The heels on both shoes completely rode off my feet every time I took a step with either foot. I returned and sized down to a 41, but they were too small in the toe box, camped, and a bit short overall. Maybe somebody else will have better luck. The leather looks very nice, as does the construction. I liked the look of a ballet shoe from the top but without the total flatness since I have very flat feet. Since I could not get a proper fit, it's difficult for me to say more about the arch support or overall feel.Wore these to walk around Lisbon. Comfy and easy to walk in. Dressy enough to wear to dinner.
