Consistency of product in support and fit. Love NB shoes.These are comfortable right out of the box. I’ve had no issues with rubbing or pinching. On its own, I found the arch support to be moderate. It’s fine, but folks with plantar fasciitis might need more. The toe box on the medium width is just slightly wider than other brands, but not enough to be a true wide width, which personally is perfect for me. The padding on the tongue and around the ankle is plush and cushy. They don’t have as much bounce as some of the new “foam” shoes, but they offer more stability while still cushioning each step.I’ve worn them now with an added (firm) arch support insole for two days straight. I noticed my plantar fasciitis pain this morning was half what it normally is. I could walk straight out of bed without clinging to the wall for support. Plantar fasciitis folks know the pain that I’m talking about!I wear 9.5 B in 847v3 and ordered 10B in 847v4 for the same fit. Did this because of previously written reviews by other customers. Thank you reviewers! I have a flexible arch (high arches that flatten when stand) and overpronate. The stability roll bar is great. Keeps me straight even without my orthotics which fit very nicely. Wide toe box with snugger fit around instep mid foot. Padding is pretty good. Shoe is a little stiff because of the stability factors built in. Initial lacing up somewhat difficult poking laces through the holes. The all mesh upper top not as nice looking as the leather but is comfortable. Would avoid puddles. Great for walking. Don’t know about running as only run when being chased.First off I'm loving that I can get an actual pair of women's shoes in the width I need. Here's the breakdown. I bought these as a temp shoe because I can't currently get my regular Brooks dyad.Pros- cute pastel color. I usually have to wear men's since I have a 4E width. (Not cute colors). Width/size is really true to size.Cons- shoes are a bit stiff and don't have much padding (added padded insoles).The holes for the laces were definitely made at separate times since they don't line up so it makes adjusting the fit a bit difficult if you're in a hurry. Over all the construction is like I remember this brand being (lacking).I'm historically not a huge fan of New Balance as they have never lasted long for me. I bought these knowing they will be my temporary everyday shoes until I can once again get my Brooks shoes. I will wear these occasionally after. I have a super wide for with a narrow heel so I will be purchasing longer stings to be able to law and the then to get less heal slip. All in all not bad for the money but not one that would replace my loved BrooksLike the fit, but shoes sqeak when waling.I bought two pairs of these because they are extremely comfortable - however… one thing I don’t like about them is how easily they stain and how difficult the stains are to get out. It’s difficult to keep them looking nice which is annoying considering how expensive they are. I think they should use another material that’s more stain-resistant or easier to clean.I am a diabetic with 10.5 4E wide feet. It is hard to find shoes that fit without rubbing. New Balance are the best brand. They did not have 10.5, so bought a size 11 4E, high rated for width and length in these shoes, and they felt good. But after 2 days of light use, my toes were pinching and the beginning of blisters were forming. So I checked inside the shoe--size 10, phooey, a return. When I put them back in the box, though, I was astonished. Someone had manually changed a size 11 box to size 10 with a sharpie! They didn't change the bar code, so it scanned as an 11--and that's why I got the wrong pair. Of course, it's untraceable, so no retraining can happen. But had I been a less careful diabetic, this could have led to a foot infection and terrible consequences. As it is, I ordered the correct size and am very happy.This is a great shoes/ the support is as expectedI switched over from years of Ryka because the manufacturing changed
