I didn't want to take this jacket off one I attached it to the battery! Lovely and warm and lightweight. Only downsides for myself was I wasn't keen on the fur on the hood but this can be detached and that you can't regulate the temperature so have to unattach the battery if you are too hot. But if it's cold you won't want to turn it off anyway. Well worth the money.lightweight jacket. but holds the heat well.. the heating pads are a good addition for harsh climates.GoodThis is a great coat that keeps you warm whilst also looking stylish and, despite the padding, not looking anything like the Michelin Man.The zip proved a little problematic in an otherwise very well made coat, refusing to engage and be done up. It looks like being an ongoing foible of this coat and the reason for knocking a star from the rating. The coat itself is very well cut and fits beautifully, slightly large and accommodating of a jumper underneath, so true to my normal size plus one, which is exactly what I wanted. The hood is just perfect; sufficiently large to cover your head without making you feel overwhelmed and a close enough fit that it will not open out like a sail and fall down at the slightest puff of wind.The coat is, in itself, lovely and warm. There is a facility to attach a power bank and create added warmth on very cold days, which is a useful feature and one that will prove welcome on the colder days.Zip aside, this is a very well made coat with obvious thought having been given to the cut and feel of the design.UpdateThis has proven its worth during some very cold weather recently, enabling me to keep warm. My hands, having misplaced my gloves, didn’t do quite so well, but the pockets added some warmth to proceedings. The zip is still problematic, but works, which is the main thing.
